Ace Rounds Up for Local Kids!
Ace Hardware hosted its 25th Ace Shootout, a golf tournament and fundraiser, January 28 – February 4, in Hawaii. Celebrity athletes competed in a series of golf challenges to raise funds and awareness for their local hospital, vying for the title of 2023 Shootout Champion. Over the past 25 years, Ace Hardware has raised more than $32 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through the Ace Shootout, including through vendor sponsorships.
Local football legend Joe Theismann competed on behalf of Children’s National Hospital and won recognition as the “fan favorite.” Joe also brought home the most donations of any player, with a total of $33,500! Watch the 2023 Ace Shootout on the Golf Channel, airing Saturday, May 27, 4:30-5:30pm ET and Tuesday, June 6,12-1am ET.
Joe showcased his determination to improve children’s health and his fundraising success will support world-class care and research for patients at Children’s National.
Back in Washington, D.C., area Ace retailers hosted the annual April Round Up for Kids campaign to raise funds for Children’s National. Fourteen stores participated, raising $13,638!
