Celebrating Our Credit Union Partners

Singing kept Melody, our Children’s Miracle Network 2020 Champion, smiling during leukemia treatments at Children’s National Hospital. Generous support from credit unions helps kids at our hospital thrive through transformative programs like music therapy.

Credit Unions for Kids has raised more than $5.5 million for our hospital over the course of our partnership and more than $200 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1996. Last year, we named our Capital Area Credit Unions Waiting Area in honor of local credit unions that committed to raising $3 million for Children’s National over the next 7 years.

Today, we celebrate International Credit Union Day with admiration and appreciation for these incredible partners. Their generosity opens new dimensions of care that restores hope for our patients and families. Together, we’re helping kids grow up stronger. Thank you, local credit unions!
