Kendra Scott Supports Children’s National during Cancer Awareness Month

Kendra Scott found many ways to support Children’s National Hospital this September. The company has hosted a Round up Campaign and local in-store/virtual fundraisers in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month to encourage donations at the register. In addition, they are finding creative ways to virtually engage with patients at Children’s National to provide them with fun experiences. The first-ever Virtual Kendra Cares at Children’s National gave patients the opportunity to design jewelry for themselves and their caregivers in the morning. The beautiful pieces were delivered that afternoon accompanied by a live iPad message with a Kendra Scott manager interacting virtually with patients as they opened their designs.

Last Friday, Kendra Scott invited a patient family to join the Reston store location virtually for a special experience to create their own jewelry. Mariana was a former patient at Children’s National in the NICU, along with her sister, Gabriela. They and their mother had a wonderful experience and the girls felt like princesses for the day!

Kendra Scott also organized and aired a Musicians On Call concert for the patients of Children’s National. Seacrest Studios played the concert for patients in their rooms.

We are grateful for our partnership with Kendra Scott as it celebrates its fifth anniversary of Kendra Cares. Through these challenging times, this generous support for Children’s Miracle Network provides safe, incredible experiences for patient families.
